If Time was a Woman

If time was a woman

How would I see her ?

Would my heart swell and my eyes close,

Would I let her sing to me in poetry and preach in prose,

Would I let her wrap her arms around me ,

her skin so soft ,the fragrance of a sweet rose ,

Would I let her bring me down to my knees ,

and beg for more ,

The forward march ,The arrow of time, 

like the arrow from cupids bow 

If time was a woman how would I ever know ?

A cocktail of feelings is what I'm drinking tonight 

Riding on the waves of this Universe 

I'm reborn a different person with every breathing day 

Time is a Woman and that belief of mine you are not taking away ,

My Love ,My pain ,my anger ,my Gain 

Repeats -Resolves -Returns again.

AN AUDIENCE OF ONE

An audience of one is what I seek, Into my soul I need to peek. Self reflection into a seemingly clean room , The rain washed sickness and an impending sense of doom. Shallow desires ,lust and greed, Is that What we always want or ever need? Confess to yourself as you look at yourself in the mirror , jump into those eyes and what do you see, You loved her yes but did you truly ? You loved her yes but did you so casually ? The growth of a man through heartbreak and pain , The universe brought you back to this juncture again. Close your eyes and take a deep breath , rid your soul of the poison, Let the anger die its death. The emotional roller coaster is quite the show, it’s for you to experience and not let anyone know, It’s for you to learn and understand , now ,where do you go?  Time is a friend , an enemy to the end  its time to face reality and end the show.
